What to expect...
Welcome
At Angleton Church of Christ, we’re convinced that all people matter to God and so we get excited when people just like you come to church. We want you to be able to experience God’s love through uplifting songs of praise, encouraging messages, and friendly people. We know a person’s first visit to a church can bring up a lot of questions: “What do I wear? What’s available for my kids? What time are the services?” Here are some quick answers to some common questions about Angleton Church of Christ.

What should I wear?
Worship at Angleton Church of Christ is a dress casual environment. Wear what makes you feel comfortable. We have people who wear jeans and others who choose to wear slacks and a tie. The choice is yours. “People look at the outward appearance,” we are reminded, “but the LORD looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).
Do I need to bring anything?
If you have one, you may want to bring a Bible so you can follow along with the message. A pen can sometimes come in handy for taking notes.
What are your services like?
Our worship time consists of uplifting congregational singing of songs of praise and of reflective times for prayer. During our worship, we pause to remember the sacrifice of Christ through the partaking of the Lord’s Supper. We also allow time for the collection of gifts. A Biblical message with practical application is then brought to us by our preacher, so that we might learn more of Christ and further recognize his Lordship in our lives.
Where do I go for questions?
We welcome you to talk with any of our greeters in the church lobby, and they will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have about the church at Angleton.
