Missions

The Angleton church has a love for spreading the gospel of Christ throughout the world.  Our members have been involved in campaigns in here in Angleton and other places in Texas as well as Dominica, Guyana, Singapore, Tortola. We have also helped to support several of our college students on mission trips around the world.

The Neriah LeBlanc Family is a part of the West Bay Church of Christ on Grand Cayman Island, where Neriah has been the minister since 2013.  We have been blessed to have a part in financing their ministry since 2007.

Our congregation supports missionaries around the world, including one in Singapore. For her protection we do not put her name out publicly, because she does work in a number of Asian countries where spreading God's truth is frowned upon. Sometimes spreading God's Truth can be dangerous, but it is well worth it!

For many years we have been involved with the Impact Houston church of Christ in the inner city of Houston.  Our members have participated in campaigns with them, held annual canned meat drives, shared funds with them.  Our teens have been involved in  passing our blankets and supplies to the outdoorsmen for several years.

Since 1969 Central Texas Children’s Home began as a promise to help troubled boys have a second chance. We’ve devoted our efforts to providing a safe haven for boys and girls impacted by trauma, abuse, neglect, abandonment, and selfishness.

We help children and their families learn to adjust, adapt, and overcome the pain of their past. As we teach those in need how to be healthy in the present and prepared to serve in the future, we remind them that God has plans for them.
